How to edit AI motion graphics after generation
A useful AI edit names the target, the change, what must stay and how you will check success. In Motion AI Video, select a storyboard shot to focus the request, or leave the scope on the whole video. The system uses the chosen version as its starting point, but a preservation instruction is not a pixel lock. Preview the revised result and inspect neighboring scenes before building on it.
Turn broad feedback into one visible problem
“The ending feels wrong” leaves the decision open. “The closing sentence disappears before I finish reading” gives you a target. Identify a card by its label or location, not “that box.” Combine related changes, such as new wording and a line break; separate unrelated corrections so you can see what each request changed.
Replace text with exact wording
Include old and new copy, punctuation and capitalization. Longer wording may need a different line break or smaller type. Text drawn inside the uploaded screenshot is different from an animated overlay: when product information changes, preparing an updated screenshot is usually the clearest starting point.
Replace “Your projects, together” with the exact headline “Every project. One clear view.” Keep its position and type treatment. Preserve the screenshot, background, scene order and closing message. Show the full new headline without clipping or overlap.
Give a particular moment more reading time
After the dashboard enters, hold it still for about two seconds before emphasizing the card labeled “Launch readiness.” Preserve the opening and closing copy. Keep the existing scene order and total duration; shorten the entrance if needed to make room for the hold.
Watch at normal speed without pausing. If the card remains hard to locate, improve emphasis or composition rather than repeatedly adding holds. Project duration and aspect ratio are fixed after creation: a 15-second landscape project cannot become a 30-second vertical project through a chat edit. Start a new project for that change.
Define where brand color belongs
Change the decorative outline around the screenshot and the closing headline accent to #2563EB. Keep the background neutral. Preserve every color inside the screenshot, including buttons and status indicators. Keep the closing message clearly readable.
Review the full clip, not only the new accent. A red or green status indicator carries product meaning, so an unintended recolor can change the message. Color boundaries make the request easier to assess; they do not remove the need to compare the result with the source.
Describe the relationship between elements
Make the dashboard more prominent in the middle scene. Keep the whole screenshot visible, centered and proportional, with clear space beneath the headline. Preserve interface details and the closing scene. The “Launch readiness” label should be readable at the intended viewing size.
A larger full screenshot and a long headline may compete for the same space. Decide which has priority: shorten the copy, reduce decoration or prepare a simpler source composition. More instructions cannot make conflicting size requirements disappear. Inspect at the size your audience will actually see.
Calm the movement without replacing the idea
Keep the sequence of headline, dashboard, card emphasis and closing message. Give the dashboard one gentle entrance that settles before the emphasis starts. Remove repeated pulsing. Keep the dashboard still while the closing message is read. Preserve all copy, colors and screenshot details.
Compare saved versions before the next edit
Use the version tabs or Show to preview an earlier result; Undo selects the preceding saved version. You can export the selected version or use it as the base for the next request. Choosing it does not erase later versions, refund earlier edits or persistently replace the project’s latest saved version. Think of this as choosing your working reference, then inspect which version is showing before you send a change.
Review first, then spend the next edit
Check the requested change, preserved details and adjacent elements after every revision. An edit without images costs 20 credits; with images it costs 40, plus 20 for each newly added image. Switching saved versions and exporting do not cost generation credits. Keep revising a useful structure when problems are specific; start a new brief when the message, concept, duration or aspect ratio changes. Finally, inspect the exported file, not only the preview.
